Outstanding and Inspiring SNHU Student TV Campaign
This is the questionnaire I was asked to fill out by my advisor after he entered me into the chance for this program. Email from my advisor (leaving his name out for privacy) You may have recently seen an email talking about how Southern New Hampshire University is considering heading out on another cross-country bus tour to meet students and celebrate their successes. They are looking for outstanding and inspiring SNHU students, like you, to share their stories in our next TV campaign.
My Answers to the Questionnaire
After receiving so many injuries from domestic violence (where my teenage son had initially convinced me to return to school and the only easy thing I thought I could learn would be music) I outgrew my local community college. Always being referred to as a talented writer by my 8th grade teacher, I thought to attempt SNHU's Creative Writing degree for a second time-initially doubting myself at the first attempt. I ended up surprisingly exceeding in the first term, where years previously following my initially injuries, I was told that I would never retain information anymore. Then when inducted into 'The National Society of Collegiate Scholars' through SNHU, this reiterated my chances of success in life. THANK YOU SNHU!!

Olga Phoenix Leads Us to Our Infinite Dreams
I learned to make wish lists and lists of gratitude. And the one that I recall mostly right now is to thank Olga Phoenix for helping me to learn how to come outside of myself and smell the flowers to bring my own relief from helping others. I'm thankful I was reminded to be thankful for what I have and don't have to give life full, healthy yearning. Olga even includeds a colorful chart with many choices for us to choose from to bring these healthy feelings to us in all the needed necessary areas for fulfillment in our lives. Being positive and looking ahead isn't enough for any of us. We need to take physical actions towards ourselves and our bodies in daily care to be fulfunctioning for ourselves and others.
As a victim and an advocate I know first-hand how important it is to reach out on both ends, and how helpful affirmations and life-coach healing is-these methods saved me. Olga's sample vision board helps lead us on a path to our infinite dreams.

I Really Like What I Wrote Here:
I really like what I wrote here: In Class-searching for a topic for a research paper.
While doing the Module One exercise I was able to narrow down the publishing topic. I came up with more of 'Traditional Publishing vs. Self-Publishing' or 'Self-Publishing is Better than Traditional Publishing.' Another good one I found was 'Most Writers Will Not Be Published in their Lifetime.' This was not meant to be cynical, but where I have a short instructional class on this, and have even iReported a free non-vetted CNN report on this approach and how to do it, I feel this could also change people's dreams for the better-there is so much on this. I'm still confused which topic statement to use yet I have many supporting topics for this idea. Possibly the last topic statement is my thesis statement and then use 'Self-Publishing is Better Than Traditional Publishing.' There is a great argument there, but you know... with my preliminary research I found most people are leaning, 60-40, to self-publishing-even the professional writer. And what do you think about Jennifer's idea? It's starting to draw me in. There are competitions at schools when training for music that I think can be eliminated to learn better. And though I could be accused of being jealous of the other competitors towards this stance, I really feel even this energy shouldn't be found in a place of learning. We only have so much time and money to learn and get support before we're thrown out there. We need support to fall back on to be ready for the real cruel world-there's plenty of time for that. I know I used my 8th grade teacher for support in writing when she was my only memory to a supporting link to surviving a really tough time in my life. Certainly more feedback from you would help on my final decision. Thanks!!

No. 1 goal-everybody wants to achieve-achieve is happiness???????
Does God think this is happy? Who do you answer to? How shallow and thin are you? Obviously not happy if you are very shallow. Do you sleep well at night? Do you know what happiness is? I don't think so. Happiness is when you feel your body outside of itself. Happiness is when you feel the stars-not what you might want to be-silly person-childlike, immature, and selfish, the power of something not of yours, but outside of you, that you have been priveledged to. That is success and happiness.
I had to do freewriting today after reading about Mario Cuomo and Sandra Lee.

Continuous of The Bouncing Babes
Maude grows organic tomatoes in her garden cuz every time she tries to make something for Sally and her family she gets hives. The Fat Uncle of Sally's hates spiders. Sometimes there's bugs on plants that Maude cooks and brings to Sally's. Bugs in the soup, which is a problem for the Uncle. Bugs from the garden including spiders somehow keep getting into the tomato soups that Maude makes at the dinner table. This is because the pesticides are not strong enough. Maude needs better pesticides. Uncle Fatty, though very trained at jumping and flying-his game is off when he spends time at Sally's now cuz of this . He likes to give private shows for the kids on Sundays. This is an ongoing problem on Sundays with all of them. They all get together on this day. Comical but there is a solution. Maude's weakness is she can't seem to get past her family's product line of pesticides. That's why she's a big gardener. She can't know a great secret about her family's pesticide line and everyone else finds out. This will destroy Maude.
They all revolve around Maude's feelings. They have to ultimately choose between their feelings and the feelings of Maude's.

MEMORIES ON THE RUN
This is a poem that will go in my book Memories on the Run to the times when me and my three year old were running and hiding from abuse.
I see the card table, long and steel.
They bring back memories of yards with rocks, stones, and
An odd shaped house.
I’m out front trying to look regular.
The table is all I have to do this.
We have, or present to have a function.
It makes us seem more normal.
We are having a function.
Perhaps a party.
Perhaps we are just playing.
Will the table rust from the weather.
It looks so lonely out there.
Perhaps this table will help us.
It will helps us to bear to new airs.
MY MOVIE PITCH
True Story – An immigrant comes to American and sleeps with
the authorities to stay here. Her daughter is portrayed as their daughter to
get the men in and out on a regular basis. The daughter becomes pregnant as a
teen. She is respected by her peers but racially degraded by her town. The teen is taken to a large building and the
young man who brought her there hands a woman an envelope. Who is the young man?
Is he the one who got her pregnant? He proceeds to tell the woman he will sign
the papers as the woman makes reference to the fact that the girl is underage.
The girl looks bewildered by all of this. What was in the envelope? The young
teen is given a drug to make her immobile to her physical thoughts and emotions
to force her into an abortion to hide the evidence of the truth of the men's
relations with her. Her baby after feeling its kick not too long ago is then
dumped into a garbage can as trash-as they have always thought of her. Flash
forward to a young woman in her twenties walking the streets of the city having
flash backs of her child. She can’t figure out why she can’t get her bearing
and why she is having these flash backs. The men to take her down the rest of
the way aren’t too far behind. She will go through tantalizing torture of
murder attempts with anesthesia and drugs in hospitals, threats of going to
jail when she refuses to leave the police station trying to force and
investigation, and a trick of theirs that she will never forget that takes her
to depths that she’s never seen before.
